Re: COVID-19 Face Coverings - REQUIRED

Dear Residents:

I know it has become terribly monotonous and mundane being sheltered in place. To break the cycle, we all like to get out for a little fresh air, walk the property, sit on a bench, and complete some of our chores like shopping and laundry. Without sounding like the “social distancing police”, I need to remind you that masks should be worn at all times. This includes inside the building’s common areas, laundry rooms, as well as outside on the grounds of the property. This is in compliance with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.17 that requires that any individual over the age of two cover their nose and mouth with a mask or cloth face-covering when in in a public space and unable to maintain social distancing. We therefore require that all residents and their guest observe this ORDER when outside your apartments for any reason. This is for your own safety, as well as your fellow residents and staff.

Our elevators are 5 feet by 3 feet, it is impossible to social distance in them. So please be considerate and do not enter the elevator if someone else is in it. Waiting a couple of minutes for it to come back can go a long way in keeping yourself and others healthy and safe.

Our staff will continue to work diligently to sanitize all high-contact areas such as the mailboxes, elevator panels and doorknobs. The entire staff will continue to wear masks and gloves, and practice social distancing for their own safety and yours.

We will continue to monitor this situation and to follow guidance from public health officials at the Local, State and Federal levels in making any changes or notifications as appropriate. Stay Safe.

Sincerely,
